CHIRA MOLINA.NUEVA EDICION
“Chira Molina” returns to San Javier after more than seven decades
The town of San Javier is celebrating. After 74 years, one of its most significant literary works has been reissued. As a result, the literature of the Litoral region has found a second wind, marked by an official presentation in San Javier.
The masterpiece by San Javier writer Julio Migno was presented at the Public Library that bears his name, in a gathering that brought together authorities, cultural figures, and family members.
The event was led by Olga Migno, the author’s daughter, who was in charge of presenting this new edition. The project was promoted by the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in collaboration with the Julio Migno Foundation. This recovers a work originally published in 1952, considered a cornerstone of regional narrative and poetry.
This new edition remains faithful to the standards of the original publication and also includes an extensive introductory study that provides context for the work‘s literary and historical value.
