Esta es la historia y biografía de Mariana Turchio.

Nacida en la Provincia de Santa fe, Argentina, (Reconquista), tuvo distintas actividades en la región hasta el año 2008.

En Argentina tuvo la oportunidad de organizar exhibiciones para muchos artistas en lugares muy emblemáticos, tales como el Congreso de la Nación (Honorable Cámara de diputados) con la organización del manager daniel otero, y  la Casa de la Provincia de Santa Fe en Buenos Aires.

RECORD DE EVENTOS

A lo largo de su carrera, la Sra. Turchio ha creado y recomendado más de 200 exhibiciones individuales y colectivas de artistas visuales contemporáneos.

 

Mariana Turchio,  se convierte luego en Directora Ejecutiva del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Mercosur. Desde allí, comienza  a trabajar en diversos países de América Latina, Europa y Asia (China).

 

ARTE PRECOLOMBINO Y ABORIGEN

Especializada en arte precolombino y aborigen, en 2010 fue elegida entre los diez mejores críticos de América Latina y, a partir de ese momento, se publicó un libro titulado “Educando y aprendiendo en los museos”, con un trabajo sobre la nueva imagen de la mujer en América Latina.

 

DUBAI, UN PUNTO DE LLEGADA

Actualmente vive en DUBÁI, Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Se dedica a asesorar a clientes y coleccionistas de arte, trabaja como investigadora y en la venta de obras de arte, tanto clásicas como contemporáneas, y continúa desempeñándose a nivel internacional.

• Al ser una mujer pionera, curadora y crítica de arte, y al estar siempre interesada en los artistas latinos debido a sus raíces latinas, siempre busca formas de apoyar y difundir el arte y a los artistas latinos, así como los eventos sociales y culturales relacionados con ellos.
• Ella reúne todo tipo de recursos para hacer posible la exhibición de la gran riqueza cultural de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos a través del arte y su diversidad.
• Con su logro más reciente, el título de Doctora en Arte (2019), tras mucho tiempo de arduo trabajo y esfuerzo, se ha convertido en una de las curadoras y críticas de arte más importantes en el Medio Oriente, Europa, Asia y América Latina.
• Hoy en día, como en las películas, parte de su trabajo consiste en analizar obras maestras del arte, verificando su autenticidad dentro de un laboratorio con cámaras infrarrojas y equipos altamente sofisticados. Un trabajo que solo unos pocos en el mundo pueden realizar.

Cuando Mariana Turchio dice que, “que representa su esencia, es la Celebración del Día de la Mujer, es  bajo el concepto “Una mirada de mujeres sobre mujeres”, busca unir a las mujeres con su propia luz para difundir sus actividades en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos; un espacio donde, además de celebrar nuestro día, se muestra el lado femenino desde diferentes perspectivas: la infancia combatiendo la violencia de género, la dualidad entre la carrera profesional y la maternidad, el pasado, las cicatrices en el cuerpo y el alma, la búsqueda de la identidad, la felicidad y la mujer creativa como artista musical. La chef, la bailarina, el canto; la mujer en su estado puro que ilumina cada espacio con su trabajo diario.

Su trabajo, su enfoque y visión del ARTE, los derechos humanos, los valores fundamentales, la paz y su sentido de un propósito superior —sumados a la forma en que ve la vida y su energía combinada con pericia y profesionalismo— transmiten un mensaje claro de Unidad, Tolerancia y belleza.

Independientemente de sus vastas responsabilidades, ella afirma que siempre seguirá siendo una Embajadora de la Paz. “Es un gran honor y una responsabilidad enorme. Eso es algo que permanecerá conmigo pase lo que pase”, asegura.
