Artista plástica con especialidad en pintura en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes del Perú ENSABAP. En 2005 recibió una beca de Maestría en Sistemas Interactivos en el Audiovisual -Mecad – Universidad Ramón Llull de Barcelona, España, y luego la beca para la maestría en Seguridad Informática – Sistemas de Software Libre, Comunidad Europea 2006-2007. Maestría de Escritura Creativa en la UNMSM Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
Directora y curadora de la Bienal VIDEOAKT International Videoart Biennial, que se realizó en Barcelona y Berlín desde el 2008 hasta el 2015, y se viene realizando en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima, en el Museo de la Memoria LUM, en el Museo de Arte de San Marcos y en diversos Centros Culturales de Lima, a partir del 2024. Fue curadora para la Feria Estampa en Madrid 2012 y 2013. Curadora en el Festival de Arte Contemporáneo BAC! CCCB Centro de Arte y Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona- España 2006, 2007. Es programadora del Festival de Cine Al ESTE desde el 2019 hasta la actualidad en la sección de cine experimental. Ha curado diversas exposiciones tanto en Perú como el extranjero de arte contemporáneo y de arte con nuevos medios tales como – Giros Ascendentes – Muestra de artistas peruanos emergentes en cine experimental/ videoarte – Festival “Espacio enter” – Canarias en el TEA de Tenerife – España 2019. Festival de Cine AlEste, Museo Central MUCEN, Centro Cultural de España y Espacio Fundación Telefónica. 2019 – 2020, 2023. Analíticas de Integradas para la Bienal ARTWARE DE ARTE DIGITAL en el Centro Cultural Peruano Británico, etc.
Ha sido jurado en diversos concursos como: 2025- II Concurso Internacional de Videocreación e IA: “Posthumanamente hablando: Universitat Rovira i Virgili (ACiAA), Mèdol – Centre d’Arts Contemporànies de Tarragona – España, la Plataforma Arte y Medios (PAM) y la Bienal de Artes Mediales de Santiago de Chile. 2025- Festival de Cine de Lima jurado por Parte del Ministerio de Cultura para la mejor película peruana. 2025- Jurado Juegos Florales- Dirección Regional de Educación de Lima Metropolitana. premia a nivel nacional los mejores trabajos de niños escolares realizados con Scratch del MIT Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts. Cortos Audiovisuales e Interactivos. 2023 Estímulos económicos como Jurado del Concurso de Proyectos de Producción de Artes Visuales, que organiza el Ministerio de Cultura del Perú. 2020. Curator, artist, and educator.
A graphic designer, she studied at the Toulouse Lautrec Design Institute and the FAUA (Faculty of Architecture) of the National University of Engineering (UNI). She is a visual artist specializing in painting from the National School of Fine Arts of Peru (ENSABAP). In 2005, she was awarded a scholarship for a Master’s in Interactive Systems for the Audiovisual at Mecad – Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain, followed by a scholarship for a Master’s in Information Security – Open Source Systems (European Community 2006–2007). She also holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM).
She is the director and curator of the VIDEOAKT International Videoart Biennial, which was held in Barcelona and Berlin from 2008 to 2015, and has been hosted since 2024 at the Lima Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), the LUM (Place of Memory), the San Marcos Art Museum, and various cultural centers in Lima. She served as a curator for the Estampa Art Fair in Madrid (2012 and 2013) and at the BAC! Contemporary Art Festival (CCCB – Barcelona Contemporary Culture Centre) in 2006 and 2007. Since 2019, she has been a programmer for the Al ESTE Film Festival in the experimental cinema section. She has curated numerous contemporary and new media art exhibitions both in Peru and abroad, such as Ascending Turns (Giros Ascendentes)—a showcase of emerging Peruvian experimental film and video artists at the “Espacio Enter” Festival (TEA Tenerife, Spain, 2019). Other projects include collaborations with the Al ESTE Film Festival, MUCEN (Central Reserve Bank Museum), the Cultural Center of Spain, and Espacio Fundación Telefónica (2019–2020, 2023), as well as Integrated Analytics for the ARTWARE Digital Art Biennial at the Peruvian British Cultural Center, among others.
She has served as a jury member for various competitions, including: the 2nd International Videocreation and AI Competition “Posthumanly Speaking” (2025), organized by Rovira i Virgili University (ACiAA), Mèdol – Contemporary Arts Center of Tarragona (Spain), the Art and Media Platform (PAM), and the Santiago Media Arts Biennial. In 2025, she was a jury member for the Lima Film Festival on behalf of the Ministry of Culture for Best Peruvian Film, and a judge for the “Juegos Florales” (Regional Education Directorate of Metropolitan Lima), awarding national prizes for school projects created with MIT’s Scratch, Audiovisual Shorts, and Interactives. In 2023 and 2020, she served as a jury member for the Visual Arts Production Projects grants (Economic Stimuli) organized by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture. She also judged the National Feature Film Projects competition (2021) and the Visual Arts section (Photography and Video) of the 2019 Pan American Games, among others.
