Un 30 de Setiembre de 1969 nace en Santa fe Capital, Francisco Ayala.
Hijo de don Juan Carlos Ayala y Maria Elena Lorenzatto.
El pintoresco barrio de Candioti, enclave próximo a la zona de canal 13 vio entonces modificada su habitual tranquilidad: En calle Necochea 3547 nacía la persona que iba a dialogar con las estrellas, entablar conversaciones con los moldes, y soñar con las margaritas de los jardines del barrio con lo que quería ser: Diseñador y modisto.
UN HOGAR. UNA HISTORIA
Un dato interesante es la conformación del hogar y su ascendencia. Clelia Tenerani de Lorenzatto y Nélida Bergero fueron sus abuelas -ambas de profesión maestras- mientras que un papá de profesión abogado era sostén principal del hogar. En este hogar de clase media se estaba gestando entre primaveras húmedas e inviernos soleados bajo las casuarinas de boulevard Gálvez, la personalidad y genio del hombre que mas tarde, los diarios y canales de TV iban a hablar.
CRECER EN UN PAIS
A los siete años de edad, sobreviene el golpe militar en la Argentina. Estamos en el año 1976. En la ciudad de Santa fe, cae el Intendente constitucional Noe Campagnolo. Su infancia arranca con unos primeros pasitos cortos pero firmes en el jardín de Infantes Coronel Pringles. Luego de finalizado el período del jardín, llegan sus primeros años de estudio en la escuela Mariano Moreno. De 1° a 4° grado las aulas lustrosas lo verán pasar con su blanco delantal. Para llegar luego un punto de inflexión que es el Colegio La Salle Jobson.
PASO POR EL SEMINARIO METROPOLITANO
La filosofía concentra su atención, como ciencia madre del humanismo. Nuestro personaje ve en la misma, el sentido de la existencia. Por eso atraviesa los fríos claustros del Seminario Metropolitano durante dos años para llenar ese vacío existencial.
LLEGADA A PALERMO
Pero a nuestro personaje decide indagar luego en la carrera de Publicidad, en la Universidad de Palermo.
AQUELLOS LOCOS AÑOS 90
Las escalinatas y atelieres lo esperaban. Silentes las cortinas le dieron la bienvenida mientras que las pasarelas bulliciosas auguraban algo bueno. Marcas como “Pret a Porter” lo tuvieron como integrante de su “Team”. La alta costura argentina le abre sus brazos, siendo asistente y discípulo de personajes tales como Hernan Fragnier. Es con éste en donde aprende el noble oficio de la costura.
Es tiempo entonces de completar su formación estudiando molderia en DELEGRO, confiando otra etapa de su aprendizaje a las oscilantes bambalinas donde detrás, se confeccionan los diseños de vestuario en el Teatro Colón.
Ya estaba signado por el destino, que aparecerían en su vida, el maestro Pedro Richter con sus enseñanzas. Como en un celuloide, surgirían también las texturas y diseños de textiles precolombinos con la Licenciada y artista Textil Susana Larrambebere.

The picturesque neighborhood of Candioti, an enclave near the Canal 13 area, saw its usual tranquility altered: at Necochea 3547, the person who would converse with stars, engage in dialogues with molds, and dream among the daisies of the neighborhood gardens with what he wanted to be was born: a designer and couturier.
A HOME. A STORY
An interesting detail is the composition of his home and ancestry. Clelia Tenerani de Lorenzatto and Nélida Bergero were his grandmothers—both professional teachers—while his father, a lawyer, was the main provider for the home. In this middle-class home, amidst humid springs and sunny winters under the casuarinas of Boulevard Gálvez, the personality and genius of the man that newspapers and TV channels would later talk about was forming.
GROWING UP IN A COUNTRY
At the age of seven, a military coup occurred in Argentina. It was 1976. In the city of Santa Fe, the constitutional Mayor Noé Campagnolo was deposed. His childhood began with short but firm first steps in the Coronel Pringles Kindergarten. After finishing kindergarten, his first years of study began at Mariano Moreno school. From 1st to 4th grade, the polished classrooms would see him pass with his white apron. Then came a turning point: La Salle Jobson School.
TIME AT THE METROPOLITAN SEMINARY
Philosophy captivated his attention as the mother science of humanism. Our character saw in it the meaning of existence. That’s why he spent two years in the cold cloisters of the Metropolitan Seminary to fill that existential void.
ARRIVAL IN PALERMO
But our character later decided to delve into a career in Advertising at the University of Palermo.
THOSE CRAZY 90S
The grand staircases and ateliers awaited him. The silent curtains welcomed him while the bustling runways augured something good. Brands like “Pret a Porter” counted him as a member of their “Team.” Argentine haute couture opened its arms to him, as an assistant and disciple of figures such as Hernan Fragnier. It was with Fragnier that he learned the noble craft of sewing.
It was then time to complete his training by studying pattern making at DELEGRO, entrusting another stage of his learning to the oscillating backstage where, behind the scenes, costume designs are created at the Colón Theater.
It was already sealed by destiny that the master Pedro Richter and his teachings would appear in his life. Like a film, the textures and designs of pre-Columbian textiles would also emerge with the Licentiate and Textile Artist Susana Larrambebere.
TODAY, FRANCISCO AYALA IS THE HALLMARK OF ARGENTINE TEXTILE APPAREL. HIS BRAND IS SOLD IN ARGENTINA AND EXPORTS. HE EMPLOYS HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE, AND A TEXTILE COMPANY IN CATAMARCA SUPPLIES HIM WITH MATERIALS.
