MENDELSON DANIEL – BIOGRAFIA
Daniel Mendelson, nació en Wilde, provincia de Buenos Aires el día 20 de Noviembre de 1959.
Concurrió a la escuela Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, y cursó la secundaria en la Escuela de Ganadería y granja de Esperanza (Sta Fe), egresando con el título de técnico agrónomo.
SUS COMIENZOS
Sus comienzos fueron como muchos, con el folklore. Para luego entrar de lleno en el tango con la orquesta de Enrique Romano. También ganó Cosquín y luego, sigue su carrera con Gotán Trio.
Por los años 1980, incursiona con la Orquesta municipal de Santa fe bajo los arreglos de Jorge Chiappero Favre. Y luego, decide emigrar a México.
Desde su llegada a México, Daniel Mendelson ha construido una sólida y respetada trayectoria artística, respaldada por una carrera que comenzó mucho antes, en su natal Argentina, donde destacó como intérprete de tango desde muy joven. En la década de los años 80, Daniel obtuvo reconocimientos de enorme prestigio: ganó el Pre-Cosquín como solista de tango y fue primer lugar del Primer Concurso de Tango de Santa Fe “ENMA 80”, distinciones que marcaron el inicio de un camino musical serio, profesional y profundamente arraigado en la tradición del género.
Con el paso del tiempo, su voz y su estilo evolucionaron sin perder la esencia. Ya radicado en México, Daniel amplió su horizonte interpretativo, convirtiéndose en un cantante versátil capaz de transitar con naturalidad entre el tango, la música romántica, el folclore latinoamericano, la balada, la música espiritual y las alabanzas cristianas. Esta amplitud musical lo ha hecho destacar tanto en escenarios formales como en eventos íntimos, reuniones especiales, espacios culturales y ministeriales.

Daniel Mendelson was born in Wilde, in the province of Buenos Aires, on November 20, 1959. He attended the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento primary school and completed his secondary education at the Livestock and Farming School of Esperanza (Santa Fe), graduating with the title of Agricultural Technician.
HIS BEGINNINGS
Like many others, his beginnings were in folklore. Later, he dove fully into tango with the Enrique Romano Orchestra. He was also a winner at the Cosquín festival and subsequently continued his career with the Gotán Trio.
During the 1980s, he performed with the Municipal Orchestra of Santa Fe featuring arrangements by Jorge Chiappero Favre. Later, he decided to emigrate to Mexico.
Since his arrival in Mexico, Daniel Mendelson has built a solid and respected artistic reputation, backed by a career that began much earlier in his native Argentina, where he stood out as a tango interpreter from a very young age. In the 1980s, Daniel received prestigious accolades: he won the Pre-Cosquín as a tango soloist and took first place in the First Tango Contest of Santa Fe “ENMA 80,” distinctions that marked the start of a serious, professional musical path deeply rooted in the genre’s tradition.
